Hello! Happy New Year! We made it to 2023! With the new year brings new resolutions, new beginnings, a chance to start anew. During this year, we also decide to pick a word of the year that will describe how we feel the year will go. It will be our accountability word on how we move into the year.
My 2023 word of the year is CREATE! It’s such a simple word but it means so much for me to create more content this year.
Last year I chose PRIORITIZE as my word of the year.
2023 Goals
I have 23 goals I would like to accomplish this year. It seems small but a few of these goals will require discipline and a lot of focus. It may change as the year goes, I feel the pressure already! 😃
In 2023 I’m looking forward to….
- Creating more reels on Instagram
- Generate revenue for my blog
- Read 10 books
- Take a solo trip for my birthday
- Invest in stocks, real estate or other
- Cook more of what I love. Check out different recipes
- Volunteer
- Book a Disney cruise ( won a trip last summer) 🙂
- Saving goal of 3k – 6k
- Create a inspirational journal
- Hire a virtual assistant
- Take a girls trip
- Write 3 to 4 blog posts a month
- Join some affiliate links
- Staycation at Post Oak Hotel
- Intentional on building lasting connections with family and friends
- Ride a total of 50 miles this year
- A new stream of income
- Take a class for a new skill or hobby
- Pay off debt
- Exercise two to three times a week
- Decluttering my closet ( out with the old, in with the new)
- Attend blogging events or conference
The ultimate goal for the year is to give yourself GRACE. Don’t be to hard on yourself if all your goals aren’t met.

Back to my word of the year 𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐄! Let’s Create! Let’s Create! Lately, my creative energy has been in high speed. I’m not sure what it is, well I’ve always had a desire to step out of my box and show more of my creative side. One is the start of my blog to create content that I would enjoy reading, and a source for women to read and get inspired.
Over the last couple of months, I’ve been thinking how I wanted to ease into creating more content for my blog, social media accounts, and other outlets. However, who does an ease into anything, I need to just go for it and write about it later. A lot of the goals I have listed will give me the free head space to allow my creativity to thrive! So, here’s to a year of unbelievable creative magic!!
