“Where’s your Park?”
Yes! Your order has been placed! That message popped up on my computer screen, shocked just a little that my order went through. The first drop came out in January 2020 and SOLD OUT in seconds. How is that possible? I didn’t even get a chance to search for a top, let alone a pair of socks. Should I be surprised it sold out in seconds? No. Whenever Queen B announces anything to the world, you must be ready to take action. With that being said, this blog post is how I got my hands on adidas x Ivy Park and how I styled my pieces.
adidas x Ivy Park Drip 2
The collaboration with Beyonce’s Ivy Park athleisure wear line x adidas was a huge announcement. The collection includes hoodies, socks, fanny packs, track pants, bucket hats, bodysuits, and crop tops, and much more. You even have the chance to choose sizes from XXXS – 4x. It’s been all the buzz these past few months.
Let me tell you how I got my hands on the drip. When the news dropped, Queen B would be releasing adidas x Ivy Park Drip 2 on October 3oth. I started looking at the many posts on her Instagram feed. First, I signed up to get email exclusives to view the upcoming collection. I won’t be left on the sideline, trying to get in the game this time.
The online launch date on adidas.com was October 29th, and I had early access at 9:00 am CST to view the collection. I selected my items upfront and did a pre-check out, adding my delivery address and payment information. The release is now live, and I rush to checkout. I waited for a few minutes. After waiting for about 10 minutes, I finally got a chance to get my hands on the ultimate second drop of the year, the adidas x Ivy Park Drip 2: Honey Drip. Life’s okay, and I’m feeling good!

But that’s not all. Mrs. Carter gets us hype again with the announcement of another drop. Wait, I just purchased some items a few weeks ago. Curious to know what was in this collection. Guess what happened next? I signed up for email-exclusive again to get early access. The Ivy Park Drip 2:2 Black Pack color combination is so classic and exudes plenty of character! The entire collection speaks to me in many ways. It’s more than your athleisure wear. It’s beauty inspired, strength inspired, and fashion inspired.
