Hey ladies! How are y’all doing this Sunday? It’s Self-care Sunday, and I will share a few things I love right now. One is my holy grail of skincare! My skin seems to glow just a little bit more when I use these products. Here are the products to kick off this skincare edition of Self-Care Sunday:
- Sephora Matcha Tea Face Mask
I must say I’m not a big fan of sheet masks, I was initially looking for a scrub. I didn’t want anything abrasive on my skin. Yea, I know it’s a ton of masks that won’t aggravate the skin. Maybe this was my chance to try a different sheet mask. When I purchased this mask, I was also looking for something to help with fewer breakouts. Green tea is supposed to help with acne. I was impressed that it made my face feel hydrated, and I had a matte feel. This is skinfood for my face!
- Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Face Cream
I use this mainly during the wintertime to help keep my skin hydrated. It is one of my favorite moisturizers. I like the feel it has on my skin, as well as the smell. The rose is very light, and you won’t be dying to wipe it off. It’s lightly absorbed, and it doesn’t leave a heavy film once it is applied. I’m not a beauty or skin expert, but I do my research on certain products. The other thing I love about this face cream is the hyaluronic acid that delivers extra hydration.
- Desert Essence Blemish Touch Stick
I just recently discovered this in my local WholeFoods market. I was looking for a product that would help with the blemishes left from acne. Yes, adult acne can be a pain. I have mild breakouts, but the ever so ugly dark spots start to show. My interest is piqued when I see anything with tea tree oil. This blemishing stick does what it says to help diminish the dark spots. When I first applied it on my face, I was taken aback by the smell. It’s strong, but you get used to it over time.
- Fresh Umbrian Clay Purifying Mask
Here’s another mask I’m loving. My skin type: combination – dry in the t-zone and oily on the forehead. This feels so good on the face. You can feel the clay soaking up the impurities from your face. This will help with occasional blackheads and the oiliness I experience. I have found that it doesn’t dry out my skin. I normally follow the instructions on the use of a product, so I’ve used it once a week.
- Korres Pure Greek Olive 3 in 1 Nourishing Oil
I saved my favorite skincare product for last. This oil right here is my holy grail! My mom gave this to me to try. She knows I’m a beauty junkie. I use this oil for everything. I use this on my face, body, and hair! It’s so nourishing to my skin. I reach for this several times a week. You read olive oil and think it’s going to smell heavy of olive oil. The light fragrance is so divine, and it’s light on the skin. You can’t go wrong with extra virgin oil, Vitamin E, and fatty acids to soften and tighten the skin. This will forever be in my skincare routine!
Thanks for stopping by and reading a few of my favorite self-care skincare. I hope this has inspired you to try some different beauty products. I love trying different beauty products, and I’ll share more soon. What are your favorite skincare products?
